Description
Silver Bullet Mist is a professional-grade spray sanitiser using stabilised hydrogen peroxide and silver ion technology to eliminate plant pathogens, mould spores, powdery mildew and bacteria on plant surfaces and in the grow room environment. We have been recommending Silver Bullet products to UK growers since 2017 as one of the most effective and safe-to-use contact sanitisers available for active use on plants during the growing cycle.
Dual-Action Pathogen Control for Grow Room Surfaces and Plants
Silver Bullet Mist combines the oxidising power of stabilised hydrogen peroxide with the sustained antimicrobial activity of silver ions to create a sanitiser that performs in two stages. The hydrogen peroxide component delivers rapid, contact-kill action against actively growing mould, bacteria and pathogen spores on contact. The silver ion component provides a persistent residual antimicrobial effect that continues to inhibit regrowth on treated surfaces for an extended period after application.
This dual action makes Silver Bullet Mist effective not just as a reactive treatment when disease is present, but as a preventative spray programme that reduces pathogen pressure in your growing environment before problems become visible. Applied weekly as a preventative measure during the vegetative stage and early bloom, it significantly reduces the risk of Botrytis (bud rot), powdery mildew and bacterial diseases that can devastate a late-stage crop.
Safe Application During the Growing Cycle
Silver Bullet Mist is formulated to be safe for direct application to plants at the recommended dilution rates. Apply as a fine mist to all leaf surfaces during the lights-off period to prevent leaf scorch. For preventative use, apply once or twice per week from early vegetative growth through to week three of flowering. Discontinue use during the final four weeks of bloom to prevent any effect on terpene development and flavour profile.
Also effective as a surface sanitiser for grow tents, benching, growing equipment and reservoir walls between growing cycles. Pair with good environmental management — appropriate humidity, airflow and temperature control — as part of a comprehensive integrated pest and disease management strategy.
