Description

Tube Heater is a low-wattage, thermostatically controllable tubular electric heater designed to maintain minimum temperatures in grow tents, propagation areas, and grow rooms during cold periods — particularly during lights-off cycles in winter months. We have been recommending tube heaters to UK growers since 2017 as a reliable, energy-efficient solution for preventing temperature drops that stress plants and reduce growth rates in cold UK growing environments.

Preventing Cold Stress in the Grow Room

UK winters present a consistent challenge for indoor growers: grow lights heat the growing space during their on cycle, but during lights-off — when plants are in darkness and temperatures drop — ambient cold can cause significant temperature falls in unheated spaces. A typical tube heater running to maintain 18°C in a well-insulated grow tent during lights-off consumes far less energy than supplemental heating that runs continuously regardless of ambient conditions.
