Description
Combi Ducting 100mm (4″) is a compact flexible aluminium duct for small-scale extraction systems in mini-tents, propagation enclosures and other compact growing spaces using 100mm inline fans. We have been supplying ducting components to UK growers since 2017, and 100mm Combi ducting is the correct specification for the smallest inline fans used in grow room ventilation.
Compact Ducting for Small Extraction Systems
The 100mm (4-inch) diameter is the entry point for grow room inline fan systems — used in micro-grow tents up to approximately 0.6m x 0.6m, propagation areas requiring gentle fresh air circulation, or any compact enclosed growing space where minimal airflow capacity is sufficient. At this size, flexible aluminium ducting provides a lightweight, easy-to-route solution for connecting compact inline fans to small carbon filters and external extraction points without the complexity and cost of larger-diameter system components.
The spiral wire reinforcement of Combi ducting maintains the duct’s circular cross-section under the negative pressure of a running fan — important even at small diameters where the absolute volume of a partial bore reduction is small but the percentage restriction to airflow can be significant. Quality aluminium construction resists the humidity and chemical exposure of grow room air without degrading over typical growing cycles.
Use Cases and Compatibility
Compatible with all 100mm inline fans using standard circular flanges. Connect with 100mm Fast Clamps and seal with aluminium tape. Suitable for carbon filter connections, fresh air intake routing, and general ventilation duct work at the 100mm diameter. For compact systems where noise is a concern, the 100mm insulated ducting provides acoustic attenuation for the same airflow capacity.
Pairs with compact 100mm inline fans, small carbon filters and Fast Clamp connectors. Part of the complete Combi ducting range. A cost-effective flexible ducting solution for compact indoor growing setups.
