Description

Secure Large-Diameter Ducting Connections

Large-diameter ducting connections at 14 inches require clip systems rated for the physical forces involved — the weight of large-diameter flexible ducting sections and the airflow pressure differential across high-output fan connections can cause poorly secured joints to loosen over time. The 14-inch duct clip provides a secure, even clamping pressure around the full circumference of the ducting connection, maintaining an airtight seal that does not degrade with vibration or temperature cycling throughout extended growing periods.

The pack of two provides both ends of a single duct section or two connections in a larger system — useful when connecting a fan to a carbon filter or a duct connector to a wall penetration fitting at large diameter. Compatibility and Installation

Sized for standard 14-inch (355mm) ducting connections. Slide the clip over the ducting section before connecting to the fitting or flange, then position over the joined section and tighten to the appropriate torque for an airtight but non-deforming compression. Wrap the joint with aluminium foil tape in addition to the clip for a belt-and-braces airtight seal on high-priority connections.
