Hydrotops Bioponic Coco Bloom for Soft Water is a specialist coco coir flowering nutrient from Hydrotops, formulated for the bloom stage in conjunction with soft water or reverse osmosis water. Soft water — whether from a low-hardness tap supply or produced through reverse osmosis — provides an almost mineral-free base for mixing nutrient solutions, giving you maximum control over the final mineral profile your plants receive. However, this also means that all the calcium, magnesium and trace minerals your plants require during flowering must come entirely from your nutrient programme. The Hydrotops Bioponic Coco Bloom for Soft Water formulation provides a complete mineral profile including the elevated calcium and magnesium required by coco coir, combined with the elevated phosphorus and potassium bloom ratio needed for productive flowering.

The coco-specific formulation accounts for the cation exchange characteristics of coco coir during bloom — adjusting the calcium-to-potassium ratio to deliver a correctly balanced solution at the root zone level, not just in the mixing jug. This level of specificity is what distinguishes premium coco nutrients from general-purpose products used in coco.

Bioponic Integration and Programme Use

Like all Hydrotops Bioponic products, this includes the organic Bioponic fraction — seaweed extracts, amino acids, humic and fulvic acids — that supports biological activity in the coco medium and improves nutrient bioavailability throughout the bloom phase. Apply from the start of flowering through to one week before flush at the manufacturer’s recommended rate, maintaining pH at 5.8–6.2.
