IRRIGATION INLINE VALVE

Description

Irrigation Inline Valve is a push-fit shut-off fitting for 4mm micro-irrigation tubing that allows individual supply lines to be opened, closed or throttled without tools or reservoir drainage. We have been supplying irrigation fittings to UK hydroponic growers since 2017, and inline valves are a practical essential for grow room setups where the ability to isolate individual plants or sections of an irrigation system is needed during maintenance, plant removal, or system modifications.

Individual Line Control Without System Shutdown

In a multi-plant dripper system, there are many situations where you need to shut off flow to one or more individual plants — removing a plant that has finished its cycle early, isolating a line that has developed a blockage for cleaning, or temporarily stopping feed to a plant that is showing signs of overwatering. Without inline valves, any of these actions requires either physically crimping the tubing (which risks damage and kinking) or shutting down the entire irrigation system.

The inline valve inserts into the tubing at any point in your layout and provides a simple lever or screw mechanism for opening, throttling or fully closing the flow in that individual line. This level of individual control makes a multi-plant dripper system significantly more manageable throughout the grow cycle, allowing targeted maintenance without disrupting the feeding schedule of the remaining plants.

Compatibility and Placement

Compatible with standard 4mm micro-irrigation tubing. Insert by pushing both tubing ends firmly onto the barbed ports of the valve body. For maximum usefulness, position inline valves between the dripper manifold outlet and the first tubing run to each plant — this places the valve in the most accessible position for easy operation while maintaining it as close to the control point as possible.
