Pyrethrum is derived from the flowers of Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium and has been used in pest control for over a century. How to Apply Pyrethrum 5EC Safely and Effectively

Apply as a fine mist covering all plant surfaces, paying particular attention to the undersides of leaves where many pest species concentrate. Apply during the dark period or in low-light conditions to avoid phytotoxic reactions under intense lighting. Always wear appropriate PPE — gloves, eye protection, and a mask — when mixing and spraying. Repeat at 5–7 day intervals for persistent infestations. Do not apply to plants in late bloom if harvested produce is intended for consumption. Rotate with a second insecticide mode of action to manage resistance. Store in a cool, dark location away from children.
