IRRIGATION STRAIGHT CONNECTOR

Description

Irrigation Straight Connector is a push-fit joining piece used to extend or repair runs of 4mm micro-irrigation tubing in hydroponic dripper systems. We have been supplying irrigation components to UK hydroponic growers since 2017, and straight connectors are one of the most frequently needed small fittings for building and maintaining reliable dripper irrigation layouts in the grow room.

Extending and Repairing Irrigation Runs

Micro-irrigation systems inevitably require tubing extensions, mid-run joins, and occasional repairs when tubing is cut short or damaged. The irrigation straight connector makes these modifications simple — push both tubing ends firmly onto the barbed connector, and the join is watertight and secure without the need for adhesives, clamps or specialist tools. This allows you to modify your irrigation layout at any point during the grow cycle without draining and rebuilding the system from scratch.

Straight connectors are also used when building branched supply networks from a single main feed line — connecting short extension lengths from a main 4mm run to individual plant positions that are not aligned with the primary tubing route. In larger systems where tubing routing requires multiple angles and extensions, a supply of straight connectors on hand means any layout modification can be implemented immediately.

Constructed from chemical-resistant plastic safe for continuous use with hydroponic nutrient solutions. Sized for standard 4mm micro-irrigation tubing. The barbed ends provide a secure, leak-free connection without requiring external clamps under normal operating pressures. Compatible with all standard 4mm tubing brands and systems.
