A reliable irrigation network is the foundation of a well-functioning hydroponic or dripper system. The quality of your pipes, tubes and fittings determines whether your system runs leak-free for years or develops dripping connections and blocked drippers that disrupt your grow at the worst possible moment. We stock a comprehensive range of hydroponic irrigation tubing, connectors, dripper stakes and fittings for building and maintaining growing systems of every size.
Irrigation Tubing — Main and Micro Lines
Standard irrigation systems use two sizes of tubing: main line (13mm or 19mm OD) for the primary supply run from pump to plant zone, and micro or capillary tubing (4mm OD) for individual plant drip lines. Main line tubing carries the full flow from the pump and distributes it through T-connectors or manifolds to individual plant feeds. Micro tubing then delivers measured doses to each pot via drip stakes or emitters.
Use food-safe, UV-stabilised black tubing throughout — clear or translucent tubing allows light to penetrate, triggering algae growth that clogs drippers and contaminating your system. All irrigation tubing should be replaced if it becomes brittle, discoloured or shows sign of algae growth on the interior walls.
Fittings, Connectors and Drippers
Push-fit connectors, barbed connectors, T-pieces, elbow fittings and end caps allow you to route irrigation lines around any grow room configuration. Adjustable drip stakes control the flow rate to individual plants — critical for ensuring equal distribution across all pot sites. Ball valves in the main line allow you to isolate sections for maintenance without shutting down the entire system.
We have been supplying irrigation components to UK growers building and maintaining hydroponic systems since 2017. Browse the full fittings range below.
