The right container is more important than most growers realise. Root volume, oxygen availability and drainage all determine how quickly your plants grow and how heavy your yields become. Plastic Pots, Fabric Pots and Air Pots
Standard plastic pots remain the most common container for indoor growing. They are lightweight, inexpensive and available in every size from 1L to 50L. For soil and coco grows, 11L or 15L containers are ideal for full-cycle growing from transplant to harvest. Use 6L–8L pots for faster-cycling strains or smaller training methods.
Fabric pots and air pots take root health to another level. Fabric pots allow air pruning — when roots reach the porous wall, the air dehydrates the tip, causing the plant to send lateral roots rather than circling. The result is a denser, more fibrous root ball that absorbs nutrients more efficiently. Air pots use perforated plastic to achieve the same effect. Both types significantly outperform standard plastic pots for root development and plant vigour.
Hydroponic Trays, Flood Tables and Run-Off Management
In larger grows and hydroponic setups, trays serve as both flood surfaces and run-off collectors. Deep-sided trays paired with flood-and-drain (ebb and flow) systems can feed dozens of plants simultaneously on a timer. Shallow run-to-waste trays are used under rows of coco or soil pots to collect and dispose of run-off. We stock standard and heavy-duty trays in multiple sizes, along with tray stands that improve airflow underneath pots and prevent root rot.
