Quality ducting and fittings are the connective tissue of any grow room ventilation system — linking your extraction fan, carbon filter, silencer and exit point into a seamless airflow path. Poor quality ducting, badly fitted connections and inadequate sealing all reduce extraction efficiency and create noise problems that undermine the performance of even a high-quality fan and filter combination. We stock a comprehensive range of ducting and ventilation fittings for UK grow rooms.
Flexible Aluminium Ducting
Flexible aluminium ducting is the most widely used duct type for grow room ventilation. Its corrugated construction allows it to be routed around obstacles, compressed for storage and trimmed to any length. When installing flexible ducting, always use the shortest and straightest run possible — every bend and every additional metre of duct increases static pressure and reduces airflow through the fan. Aim to keep bends to a maximum radius and avoid sharp 90° turns that create significant turbulence and resistance.
Rigid aluminium ducting offers lower airflow resistance and reduced noise compared to flexible ducting, but requires more planning and is less forgiving when routing around obstacles. For professional-grade installations where noise and efficiency are priorities, rigid duct runs with flexible connectors at the fan and filter are the optimal approach.
Connectors, Clamps and Reducers
Inline connectors, T-pieces, Y-branches and diameter reducers allow you to configure your ducting system to match the exact layout of your growing space. Ducting clamps and jubilee clips seal joints tightly, preventing air leaks that reduce extraction efficiency and allow odour to escape. Butterfly valves and blast gates allow sections of ducting to be partially or fully closed for system balancing or maintenance.
We have been supplying ducting and fittings to UK indoor growers since 2017. Browse the full range below and contact our team for advice on planning your ventilation ducting layout.
